The weekend

Why here.

The house itself is the first subject: handcrafted brick that goes copper in the last hour, granite boulders, a glass-block tower that lights up at dusk. Beyond the gate are red laterite tracks, tamarind trees, village life, and a landscape of outcrops that photographs like a different country. Bring a workshop, or just bring cameras and a plan for golden hour.

What makes it work

  • Golden-hour access to the house, tower and lawn — we'll turn the exterior lights on when you say
  • Village and farm track walks for street and documentary work; we introduce you
  • Boulders and open sky for landscape and astro
  • A living room with a big table and good Wi-Fi for edits and critique
  • Models welcome; portrait sessions work beautifully against the brick
