The session

What it’s about.

A gentle introduction to riding around the farm. An experienced handler starts with how to approach, mount and sit a horse, then leads you on a walk along the farm tracks and village edges. It's calm and unhurried — about trust and posture, not speed. Confident riders can ask for a longer route.

What you’ll do

  1. 1Safety briefing and meeting the horse
  2. 2Mounting, posture, holding the reins
  3. 3A guided ride at a walk, led by the handler
  4. 4Dismounting, grooming and a treat for the horse
You leave with

Photos from the ride, if someone in your group holds the phone.

Included

  • Riding helmet (mandatory)
  • Safety briefing

Bring

  • Long trousers and closed shoes with a heel
  • A hat and water

Rides are at the handler's discretion. Riders may be asked to sign a short safety form, and the handler may decline riders above the horse's safe weight limit or in unsafe weather.
